Some weddings have a journey of their own, and Elena & Mo’s was certainly one of them.
We started planning their wedding back in 2024, originally for 2025. Due to personal circumstances, the celebration was first postponed to June 2026 and later, because of the political situation, moved once again to the end of August. After all those changes, Six Senses Ibiza became the new setting for their wedding — and it couldn’t have worked more beautifully.
The celebrations began with a welcome party at Nomade, giving everyone the chance to meet, reconnect and settle into the weekend. With a flamenco band playing, the evening felt warm, intimate and very family-oriented — a relaxed beginning before the main celebration.
For the wedding day at Six Senses, the ceremony and cocktail took place on the Yoga Deck, overlooking the Mediterranean. The ceremony setting was framed by dramatic florals in deep burgundy, red and green, creating a beautiful contrast against the natural landscape and the sea.
One of my favourite personal details was Elena’s wedding dress, which she designed herself. It made her look completely individual and added another personal element to a wedding that already felt very much like the couple.
After the ceremony, the celebration flowed into cocktails and then dinner at the Beach Caves. The tables continued the rich floral palette with hydrangeas and anthuriums in green, burgundy and red, while the sunset and sea became part of the setting. The food and service at Six Senses were exceptional, and moving through the different spaces allowed each part of the day to have its own atmosphere while everything flowed naturally for the guests.
But we still had one major surprise planned for later in the evening.
Singer Saint Levant was flying directly from Egypt, where he had been performing at another event, to join us in Ibiza. His appearance was kept completely secret from the guests, which made the logistics behind the scenes particularly interesting. We even had to carry out his sound check discreetly during dinner, without interrupting the DJ who was playing and, most importantly, without letting the guests realise that anything was happening.
When singer finally appeared, it was a complete surprise and immediately changed the energy of the evening, taking the celebration from dinner into the party.
The wedding was captured by photographer Marcos Sanchez and videographer Yes and Tonic, who travelled from mainland Spain for the celebration.
After almost two years of planning, postponements, several changes of date and ultimately a change of venue, seeing Elena & Mo finally celebrating in Ibiza surrounded by their family and friends made this wedding particularly special.
It was a beautiful Lebanese celebration filled with warmth, energy and emotion — and very much worth the wait.
